Star Wars Classic Trilogy Edition Monopoly is a special edition to coincide with the Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition rerelease to theatres in 1997. The properties are locations taken from the original three movies forming the Star Wars trilogy, with each colour group representing a planet or moon. The utilities are Reactor Core and Moisture Farm and the railways have been replaced by starship types used in the movies. The cards, houses and hotels have been thematically modified, and the set of pewter tokens are modelled on characters from the movie.
A Limited Collector's Edition was also released, with different tokens, and a slightly modified board.
